Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá
Upon arrival at “ElDorado” airport, we will pick you up and bring you to your hotel located in the north of Bogotá. ¡Bienvenido a Colombia!
Day 2: Transfer to Villa de Leyva
Today you will go to Villa de Leyva which is about 3 hours away from Bogota and it is located in the department of Boyacá. Villa de Leyva is well appreciated by Colombians and tourists for its architecture and relaxed atmosphere.
On the way you will visit the one and only salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá, about 40 minutes away from Bogotá. One of the wonders of Colombia and the only one in the world.
Day 3: Villa de Leyva City Tour
On today’s agenda you will visit one of the most beautiful villages of the country. Villa de Leyva maintains its colonial architecture, mixed with the traditions and kindness of the locals
Day 4: Transfer to Honda, Posada las Trampas.
Today you will hit the road to Honda where you will spend the 2 next days, it is located in the department of Tolima and it is
about 6 hours from Villa de Leyva. This colonial city has a rich historic past. You will take a walk into the old city followed by dinner at your hotel.
Day 5: Honda, Posada las Trampas.
On this morning after breakfast you will visit the natural reserve during the day. Today’s agenda includes bird’s observation very early in the morning, and then you’ll have time to discover the ranch. Later in the afternoon there will be time for horse-back riding, and back in the hotel a special dinner will be waiting for you.
Day 6: Manizales. Hacienda La Quinta.
After breakfast you’ll be heading to Manizales, in the department of Caldas which is about 4 hours from Honda. This is your first stop in the coffee natural landscape. In the afternoon you’ll visit this beautiful city.
Day 7: Salamina. Casa de Lola Hotel Boutique
The transfer to Salamina will begin, a small village considered as a work of art which is still in the department of Caldas, and it is part of the coffee natural landscape, about 2 hours away from Manizales.
Day 8: Salamina
Today you’ll taste one of the most characteristic and exotic flavors of Colombia through a fruit tour; and after lunch a coffee tour is on the agenda the emblematic product of this area and to finish your day, you will have dinner at your hotel.
Day 9: Manizales
Today you will return to Manizales and have day free to enjoy the last day on the coffee region
Day 10: Check-out and Departure
Today it is time to say goodbye to the beautiful country of Colombia which has surely enchanted you with its diverse, beautiful landscapes and its friendly people. You will be taken to the airport
and from there head back home with a lot of new impressions and experiences that will last a lifetime.
